Abstract:
To provide a rotor assembly for an electric motor having a divided high-capacity magnet.SOLUTION: The rotor assembly for an electric motor includes a rotor core and a plurality of magnets. The rotor core defines a rotary shaft. Each magnet includes a magnet stem portion and a magnet arm portion. The magnet stem portion extends radially with respect to the rotary shaft and presents a radially outermost stem end portion. The magnet arm portion is located at least partially radially outwardly from the stem end portion. Additionally, the magnet arm portion extends circumferentially in the opposite direction to the magnet stem portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
