PURPOSE: To make heat leave in a hot zone in particular so as to prevent the occurance of cracking around plug holes by joining a metal sheet of good thermal conductivity with the circumference roughly extending all over thereof, of a steel sheet forming the trochoid inner circumferential surface of a rotor housing.
CONSTITUTION: In a casing consisting of a rotor housing 10 with a trochoid inner circumferential surface and a pair of a right and a left side housing arranged at both sides of said housing, the rotor housing 10 is formed in such a way that a composite material 13 which consists of a high tension steel sheet 11 froming the trochoid inner circumferential surface and of a metal sheet 32 of good thermal conductivity bonded on one side surface thereof while being pressed, is internally chilled with a base materail 14 made of aluminum alloy. In joining the high tension steel sheet 11 with the metal sheet 12, setting is applied to the surface of the high tension steel sheet 11 to be joined with the metal sheet 12 wherein the metal sheet 12 is bonded thereto with pressure by a press roller and the like. And the base material 14 is joined with the metal sheet 12 while setting is applied in advance in a similar manner thereby ensuring high Joining performance.
