Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to withstand a high centrifugal force by securing a reinforcing cylinder to the inner surface of a skirt portion integral with a rotor housing, and holding a plurality of magnets in the housing. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing cylinder 11 is inserted fixedly to the inner surface of the skirt portion 2b of a rotor housing 2 which has the skirt portion 2b integral with a bottom 2a engaged with a rotational shaft 1 in a press-fitted state. A plurality of magnets 4 are secured together with a circular yoke 3 on the inner surface of the skirt portion 2b. The yoke 3 may be also used on the bottom 2a of the housing 2. The press-fitting state of the cylinder 11 may be mechanically press-fitted or shrink-fitted.
