To provide a manufacturing device of a rotor that can exactly magnetize a permanent magnet to a desired direction so as to make the permanent magnet possess a desired magnetic force, and can insert the permanent magnet into the rotor at a proper position in a proper direction, and a manufacturing method of the rotor.
A hole 2 having the same shape as the cross section of the permanent magnet inserted into a slit 6 of the rotor 5 is formed at a magnetizing core 1. The hole 2 is positioned at the same place as that of the slit 6 to which the permanent magnet in the rotor 5 is inserted. A magnetizing winding 3 is wound to a part of the magnetizing core 1, and the permanent magnet magnetized at the magnetizing core 1 is inserted into the slit 6 in the rotor 5 by a magnet insertion claw 8 formed of a non-magnetic material having the cross section of the same shape as the slit.
