Abstract:
To provide: a rotor allowing for appropriately setting a thickness of each permanent magnet in a plurality of layers into a non-demagnetized state, as well as, into a state where the quantity of materials to be used is suppressed as further as possible; and a rotary electric machine with the rotor.SOLUTION: In each magnetic pole, a ratio "Tm1/Tm2"of a thickness Tm1 of each first permanent magnet and a thickness Tm2 of each second permanent magnet satisfies relations of Kh1=sin(θ1)/θ1, Kh2=[sin(θ3)-sin(θ2)]/(θ3-θ2) and Tm1/Tm2≒(Kh1-Kh2)/Kh2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
