PURPOSE: To shorten the rough work time while to improve the working efficiency and to facilitate the rough work, by performing the rough work through boring while utilizing the function of profile system for facilitation.
CONSTITUTION: Model MDL and raw material work WK are mounted on a table TBL. In order to move a tracer head TC and a tool CT from point a1 to a2, processor PC will drive X-axis motor XM through servo circuit SVX to move the table TBL in the direction of X-axis thus to position the head TC and tool CT at the point a2. Assuming the point a2 as the starting point of approach, column CLM is moved below Z-axis to bite the work WK with the tool CT until the stylus 4 of the head TC will contact with the model MDL. With such method, the rough work time is shortened to improve the working efficiency and to facilitate the rough work.
