Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a route generating method for moving robot which is superior in economization and practicality to quickly obtain the route, where the moving robot does not collide with obstacles, with less labor without falling into a dead lock phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:When a route of the moving robot is generated in the area where the outer peripheral wall is virtually reduced into a reduced wall by the size of the robot and the surface of an obstacle on the inside of the wall is virtually enlarged into an enlarged obstacle by the size of the robot, a potential electric field is generated which preliminarily gives a positive certain potential to the reduced wall and the enlarged obstacle and gives a lower certain potential to the start point and the goal point, and the moving robot is allowed to arrive at the goal point from the start point along a maximum potential downward inclination.
