Abstract:
To provide a route setting device with which it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a driving change request.SOLUTION: A route setting device 4 comprises a route candidate creation unit 25, an index calculation unit 27, a display unit 29, an input unit 31, and a route setting unit 33. The route candidate creation unit creates a route candidate from the current place to a destination. The index calculation unit calculates, for the route candidate, a change index that represents the probability of an automatic driving system 3 issuing a driving change request when a vehicle travels the route candidate using the automatic driving system. The display unit displays the route candidate in association with the change index calculated for the route candidate. The input unit accepts selection of the route candidate by an occupant of the vehicle. The route setting unit sets a route following the route candidate on the basis of the selection accepted by the input unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
