Abstract:
To set a firewall while considering re-delegation of a prefix to an added router.
A router includes a communication propriety storage means in which a communication propriety rule from an external network to an internal network connected to the router is set; a prefix delegation accepting means for accepting at least one prefix delegated from a high-order router; a deciding means for deciding a prefix to be given to a LAN subordinate to the router from among the accepted prefixes; and a changing means for changing the communication propriety rule in the communication propriety storage means so that the external network can reject communication to the decided prefix.
