Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a roving change method capable of reducing required time widely for the work of the roving change in a fine spinning machine, without complicating the controlling of the unit for the roving change or deteriorating the workability of operators.
CONSTITUTION: A pick finding operation section A1 equipped with a roving pick finding unit 15 in the front side of the moving direction of an unit for the roving change 12 in the roving change operation, and a piecing and changing of rovings operation section A2 equipped with the roving change unit 18 in the rear side, are installed respectively. The piecing of rovings unit 21 can be transferred forward and backward between the pick finding operation section A1 and the piecing and changing of rovings operation section A2. The piecing of rovings unit 21 can be transferred by moving of a belt 105, between a new roving holding position in the pick finding operation section A1 and a piecing of roving position corresponding to a filled bobbin transferring unit 16 in the piecing and changing of roving operation section A2. The pick finding operation, where the ends of the rovings are picked from two filled bobbins F on a spare railings, and the piecing and changing of rovings operation, where rovings are pieced and after piecing the filled bobbins F are transferred to a bobbin hanger of a creel, are performed in parallel.
