PURPOSE: To obtain a heavy duty rubber composite excellent in the strength in its reinforcing layer and having high stability, wherein a reinforcing structure is composed of a network material made from a three-dimensionally shaped textile material forming an open-mesh three-dimensional network which penetrates the rubber material three-dimensionally in a skeleton-like manner.
CONSTITUTION: A network material having a geometrical shape corresponding to that of the network material present in a rubber composite has a three- dimensional network containing rods, knots and cavities and can penetrate other substance, for example, like a rubber material of a vehicle tire. The open-mesh of the filigree-like network structure of the network material has the characteristical geometrical shape of this material. For example, these are formed from deep drawn meshes of a crossply fixed by weft yarns of a stretchable fabric, a raschel net or fabric, especially, a knitted fabric-like sheet like fabric material. The deep drawing properties of a knitted fabric is fundamentally regardless of the stretchability of a fiber material. As the base for preparing the network material in a tire, it is pref. to use a knitted fabric.
