Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition having excellent durability and steering stability, and capable of reducing rolling resistance, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the resin composition.
The rubber composition is prepared by compounding 5-100 pts.mass of a chitin and/or thitosan fiber having ≤100 nm of a fiber diameter D and ≥5 of an aspect ratio represented by the ratio (L/D) of the fiber length L to the fiber diameter D relative to 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber. The pneumatic tire is produced by using the rubber composition at a tread part or a bead apex.
