Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a rubber composition, wherein dispersibility of a filling material is excellent, thermogenic properties are improved, and rubber hardness of a vulcanized rubber is improved; the method of producing the rubber composition; and a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The method of producing the rubber composition includes: a step (I) of dispersing the filling material in a dispersion medium to produce a filling material-containing slurry solution; a step (II) of mixing the filling material-containing slurry solution with a rubber latex solution to produce a filling material-containing rubber latex solution; and a step (III) of coagulating and drying the filling material-containing rubber latex solution to produce a rubber wet masterbatch, and thereafter subjecting the rubber wet master batch and various compounding agents to dry blending. During any of these steps (I) to (III), dicarboxylic acid or dicarboxylate is added.
