Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which is excellent in modulus at 100% elongation while maintaining excellent low heat build-up properties, and a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a diene rubber, a filler, and an acid-modified polyolefin having an acid group formed of an unsaturated carboxylic acid. The diene rubber contains a modified diene rubber having a modifying group formed of a nitrone compound having a carboxy group and a nitrone bond. The content of the modified diene rubber is 5-100 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The content of the acid-modified polyolefin is 1-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The pneumatic tire is formed of the rubber composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
