Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for a side wall capable of satisfying both of the retention of characteristics such as endurance desired for the rubber composition for a side wall and the improvement of processability and to provide a pneumatic tire in which traveling safety is improved by providing a side wall rubber using the rubber composition.
The rubber composition for a side wall comprises 100 pts.mass rubber component comprising a natural rubber component composed of 30-70 mass% natural rubber and 30-70 mass% modified natural rubber, 20-60 pts.mass silica and 0.5-15 pts.mass terpene-based resin and/or rosin-based resin. The pneumatic tire is equipped with the side wall rubber using the rubber composition.
