Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition and a tire capable of improving the total performance of wet grip performance, dry grip performance and high mileage.SOLUTION: The rubber composition shows a reversible change in the volume by water and satisfies the following expressions (1) and (2). They are: (1) (volume in a wet state with water)/(volume in a dry state)>1.00, where the volume is a volume of the rubber composition at 25°C; and (2) (tanδ at 70°C)<0.14 in a dry state, where tanδ at 70°C is a loss tangent measured under the conditions of 70°C, an initial strain of 10%, a dynamic strain of 2% and a frequency of 10 Hz.SELECTED DRAWING: None
