Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for tires which can be improved in thermal fatigue resistance, fracture strength, adhesiveness, and fuel economy in good balance, and a pneumatic tire using the same.
A rubber composition for tires contains a rubber component including isoprene rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber, and resin obtained by copolymerization of (a) phenolic compound and (b) terpene compound. A copolymerization ratio of the phenolic compound (a) in resin 100 mass% is 5-20 mass%, and a copolymerization ratio of the terpene compound (b) is 80-95 mass%.
