Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tires which satisfies all of wet performance, low rolling resistance, and performance on ice and snow roads at excellent levels, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires contains a diene rubber having an average glass transition temperature of -100 to -50°C, an acid-modified polyolefin having a melt flow rate at 230°C of 1.0 g/10 min or less, and silica. The content of the acid-modified polyolefin is 1-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The content of the silica is 80-180 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
