Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition in which elastic modulus at high temperature is increased while its hysteresis loss (tan) is lowered, in the rubber compound blended with silica.
The composition is characterized by including 5 to 100 pts.wt. of silica and 1 to 20 pts.wt. of silk powder based on 100 pst.wt. of diene type rubber, as well as 1 to 20 wt.% of epoxysilane compound based on the amount of the silk powder blended, and 3 to 10 wt.% of a silane coupling agent containing sulfur based on the amount of the silica blended.
