PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber composition having excellent resiliency, low rolling friction resistance and large wet skid resistance, by adding carbon black and a vulcanizer to a specified conjugated diene (co)polymer (blend) rubber.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. monomer (mixture) comprising a conjugated diene monomer and, optionally, a monomer copolymerizable therewith is (co) polymerized in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of 0.1W10mmol of an alkali metal-based catalyst. The obtained alkali metal-terminated conjugated diene (co)polymer rubber is reacted by heating with an aminobenzene derivative of formula I (wherein R is H or an organic group, X is a halogen, an ester group or the like and n is 1W4) to obtain a conjugated diene (co)polymer rubber having at least 0.2, on the average, atomic group of formula II in the polymer molecule, a vinyl content ≥30wt% and a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) ≥10. 10W120pts.wt. carbon block and 0.5W5pts.wt. vulcanizer are added to 100pts.wt. this rubber or blend rubber comprising 20wt% or more of this rubber and 80wt% or below other diene rubbers.
