Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition comprising a filler surface-treated with a predetermined organosilicon compound and capable of achieving desired fuel efficient tire performance and wear resistance performance while maintaining the processability of the composition and the hardness and tensile properties of its cured product.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition comprising a filler surface-treated with an organosilicon compound represented by formula (1). (R1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or the like; R2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or the like; R3 is H, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms; R4 is H or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain a substituent other than an S-containing group and may contain a hetero atom other than S (provided that R4 may crosslink with one another to form a ring); Z is a divalent group having no polysulfide group, thioester group or mercapto group; n is an integer of 1 to 3.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
