Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an oil-resistant rubber hose having improved heat, wear and sour gasoline resistance, by blending partially hydrogenated multi-polymer rubber with a filler and vulcanizing agent. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100wt.% rubber component consisting of 45-80wt.% butadi ene and 20-55wt.% acrylonitrile is copolymerized with 0.1-15wt.% co polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and at least 70wt.% carbon- carbon double bond part of the prepared multi-polymer is hydrogenated to give partially hydrogenated multi-polymer rubber, which is blended with (B) a filler and (C) a vulcanizing agent. A polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, crotonic acid and oleic acid is used as the polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer.
