Abstract:
PURPOSE: To knead a hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber (H-NBR) at a low cost by a pressurizing kneader.
CONSTITUTION: A compounded rubber mainly composed of an H-NBR is kneaded by a pressurizing kneader. At this time, the rubber is kneaded with the loading of a seed rubber of a kneaded rubber having the same composition as the rubber used in the kneading by a weight corresponding to 12wt.% or more of a total rubber weight per kneading cycle. The seed rubber is loaded when a power demand curve is lowest in an initial stage during a black wet time after the start of kneading until the rubber is wet by carbon.
