Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber kneading open roll which ensures safety certainly during cleaning of the kneading roll.
SOLUTION: This rubber kneading open roll comprises a kneading roll 1 for kneading rubber and a guider 2 which is installed on the end part of the kneading roll 1 and controlls so that the rubber is not shifted toward the end part during kneading. The guider 2 is of such a function that it bounces up being separated from the kneading roll 1. The guider 2 is so designed that it bounces up only when the kneading roll 1 is not actuated. Thus the switch SW1 of the kneading roll 1. is turned off when a guider switch SW2 for bouncing up the guider 2 is turned on. Further, a cylinder for bouncing up the guider 2 is actuated after sensing the stoppage of the kneading roll 1. Therefore, it is possible to clean the kneading roll 1 safely.
