To provide a rubber-modified styrenic film or sheet which is excellent in impact resistance, transparency, printing resistance, and the balance of tensile strength and elongation at break in the longitudinal or lateral direction and can be produced with good moldability.
The rubber-modified styrenic resin film is produced by molding a rubber-modified styrenic resin obtained by graft polymerization of a styrenic monomer (B) and a (meth)acrylate monomer (C) in the presence of a styrene-butadiene block copolymer rubber (A). In the graft polymerization, the component (A) is polymerized in an amount of 3-16 wt% and the components (B) and (C) are polymerized in an amount of 97-84 wt%, based on the total amount of the components (A), (B), and (C); and the component (B) is polymerized in an amount of 100-82 wt% and the component (C) is polymerized in an amount of 0-18 wt%, based on the total amount of the components (B) and (C). The resin comprises dispersed rubber particles having an average particle size of 0.1-0.5 μm. The percentage of the number of rubber particles having a core-shell structure to the total number of the dispersed rubber particles is 90% or more. The resin has a Vicat softening temperature of 85°C or higher.
