PURPOSE: To obtain a complete composite material with a rubber material having excellent elongation in a low-load region and flexibility, no reduction in cord tenacity and in fatigue resistance and stable twisting.
CONSTITUTION: Steel cord for reinforcing rubber products which is steel cord having structure of 1×n (n=1-6) obtained by twisting a yarn stock having a habit of small and approximately spiral state with a yarn stock having straightness and has 1.08-1.70 ratio ξ1/ξ2 of elongation ξ1 at break of the yarn stock having the habit of small and approximately spiral state, constituting the steel cord and elongation ξ2 at break of the yarn stock having straightness, after untwisting the steel cord and has 0.15-0.50SL(%) elongation SL of steel cord at 5Kg load.
