Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be quickly used as a disaster-prevention hood in an emergency such as an earthquake by continuously providing a disaster-prevention hood inflated and developed by filling of gas in the rear top part of a rucksack main body via a hood storing belt and being installed on the rucksack in its exhausted state at all times as a hood storage body.
SOLUTION: A gas filling device 9 installing a small-size compressed carbon dioxide bottle is attached to a disaster prevention hood 2 so that the disaster prevention hood 2 functioning as a gas cushion which covers and protects the whole of the head part, the both sides of the face, and the neck nape can be inflated and developed by the blowing of the carbon dioxide gas by the operation of the device 9. This hood 2 is connected to one end part of a hood storage belt 3 via a zipper 7 and the other end of the belt 3 is connected to the rear top end 1a of the rucksack main body 1 via a connecting piece 5. This hood 2 is generally folded up with the belt 3 in its reduced state formed by exhausting the filled medium and arranged on the top part of the rucksack main body as the hood storage body 3f.
