To provide a rule which can correspond to the length of a side of a sticking position when headings of ready-made articles are stuck neatly in good order and dispenses with computation as to the sequence and the position of sticking.

Not only a number (3) in the sequence, but also classification (4) in the order of the Japanese syllabary, classification (5) in the alphabetical order and others, are marked at each division of the scale (1) of the ruler to which the division of the scale (1) for each width of sticking of the heading of the ready-made article is put, in the ruler for determining the position of sticking of the heading. Consequently, a time and labor for making computation as to the number in the order of sticking for each classification, such as the number in the order of the Japanese syllabary or the number in the classification according to the alphabetical order, for instance, are dispensed with. By providing a position (2) for alignment of the ruler to be aligned with the end of the side of the position of sticking of the article to which the heading is to be stuck, the division of the scale (1) for the classification thereof can be disposed in a good balance along the length of the side of the position of sticking.
