Abstract:
To provide a run flat tire/rim assembly which improves core loading property to a tire and rim assembling property and a method for manufacturing the same, and a core used in the run flat tire/rim assembly.SOLUTION: There provided a run flat tire/rim assembly in which a core 2 capable of supporting a load of a tire during run flat traveling, and a tire 3 are mounted on a rim 4, wherein the core 2 has a spiral shape, and each end of the spiral core 2 is brought into contact with a position of a hump and/or a bead seat of the rim 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
