Abstract:
To provide a run flat tire excellent in run flat durability.SOLUTION: A run flat tire includes: a carcass 4 composed of one or more carcass plies extending from a pair of bead parts 3 through a side wall portion 2 to a tread portion 1; a pair of side reinforcing rubbers 9 which are arranged inside in a tire width direction, of the carcass 4 in the side wall portion 2 and have crescent cross sections; and a bead filler 7 which is arranged outside in a tire radial direction, of a bead core 6 of the side wall portion 2, wherein a vulcanized rubber which constitutes at least one of the side reinforcing rubbers 9 and the bead filler 7 is obtained by vulcanizing a rubber composition including a rubber component and a polysulfide compound having mercapto groups at both terminals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
