Title:
RUNNER REMOVING MECHANISM FOR MOLDING DIE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63307920
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To establish the automation of molding and enhance productivity by ejecting a molding runner in the mold opening direction in a manner to retain a given angle through a runner retaining section and a runner ejector.

CONSTITUTION: A runner stripper plate 11 and molding components 3 and 14 are separated from a fixing and mounting component 4 after molten resin in a cavity 1 is cooled and solidified, and then a main mold component 3 and an auxiliary mold component 14 are moved in the direction A respectively through connecting rods 12 and 21. A short runner retaining section 7a is removed first, and as a runner retaining section 7'a is longer than the runner retaining section 7a, the same is in contact with a runner 20 closely and the runner 20 is retained in the inclined state at a given angle. Further, the runner 20 is pushed out in the direction A by moving a runner stripper plate 11 in the mold opening direction and removing the runner 20 from the long runner retaining section 7'a. At this time, the runner 20 retained in the inclined state at a given angle, is dropped down into the outside of the main mold component 3 surely without being inserted into a runner cavity 2 of the main mold component 3.
