To provide a runner structure for a sliding door such that a door panel can be attached to and detached from a guide rail provided on a door frame.
A runner structure for a sliding door has: a guide roller 20 which travels along a guide rail 12 provided on a door frame 11; and a unit member 30 fixed to the sliding door 13. The unit member 30 includes: a case member 31; a related member (a gear member 32 and a damper link 36) provided for the case member 31 and related to a bar member (a rack member 14 and a timing bar 15) provided in a guide rail 12; and a support shaft block body 21 which has a pair guide roller connected part 23 at an upper end and an engagement lock member 21c, which can be engaged and locked to the case member 31 by insertion along the guide rail 12, and also unlocked through an external operation, at a lower end, and the guide roller connected part 23 of the support block body 21 extends in a direction horizontally orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the guide rail 12 to support the guide roller 20 in a cantilever manner.
