Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a simply structured runner unlocking device of a molding machine which eliminates the defects of a three plate-die, gives a sufficient amount of die opening and is composed of a limited number of parts.
CONSTITUTION: A molding machine is equipped with a first die 31, a second die 32 which forms a cavity with the first die, a runner stripper 33 which forms a runner with the first die, a nozzle which infects a molten resin, a sprue pusher 34 which supplies the resin to the runner; a runner lock pin 35 which locks the resin flowing into the runner at the tip, a connecting member 38, and an energizing spring 39. The runner is unlocked by locking the runner by a nozzle touching force and cancelling the nozzle touching force.
