Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the running controller for an unmanned carrier capable of running the carrier by making the running speed of the unmanned carrier coincide with a determined instructed speed with high accuracy.

CONSTITUTION: The number of rotation of the vehicles of a running unmanned carrier 10 is detected by an encoder 60 and the driving device of the unmanned carrier 10 is controlled by driving device control means 50 to 70 so that the running speed calculated from this number of rotation by running speed calculation means 50 to 70 may coincide with indicating speed. At this point of time, the time interval when a marker detection means 58 provided on the unmanned carrier 10 detects a marker 42 arranged on a running route 40 is counted by a count means 68. The practical running speed calculated from this time interval and the pitch P between markers by real running speed calculation means 50 to 70 is compared with the instructed speed and the instructed speed is corrected by a deviation correction means 50 to 70 based on the deviation. By performing the above controls, the practical running speed of each unmanned carrier 10 to 10 coincides with the instructed speed accurately.
