Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unnecessary alarm at the time changing a running lane, avoidance steering, etc., in the case of running adjacent to a guide line by the intention of a driver in a curve and a corner.
SOLUTION: A device has a running lane recognition means M1 recognizing a running lane of a road and a self car position thereon, alarm means M2 based on a recognition result thereof generating an alarm when a car likely deviates from the running lane, and awakening degree detection means M3 detecting an awakening degree of a driver, and a first inhibition means M4 inhibiting the alarm when the detected awakening degree exceeds a prescribed value. In this way, when the awakening degree of the driver is a high value exceeding the prescribed value, deviation from the running lane is decided as the intention of the driver of running lane change or the like, and the alarm is inhibited, so that an unnecessary alarm can be prevented.
