Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily confirm the present position even when the running locus displayed on a picture is shifted from the road on a map, by continuously displaying the running locus from a fixed position to the present position. CONSTITUTION:The running distance and direction of a moving body are detected by distance and direction detectors 1, 2 with the running of the moving body and the position of the moving body on two-dimensional coordinates at every unit running distance is calculated by a signal processing apparatus 3 and the calculation result is stored in a running locus memory apparatus 4 and held thereto. The content thereof is always read to be continuously sent to a display apparatus 5. At the same time, the direction signal at the present position is successively sent from the apparatus 3 to the apparatus 6. Therefore, the display mark M1 at the present position B having directionality and the running locus display mark M2 from a start point A to the present position B are imitatively displayed on the apparatus 5 so as to follow the running state of the moving body. Further, a searching mark 3 is applied to the mark M2 displayed on the apparatus 5 by the indication of an operation apparatus 6 on the way of a running route to make is possible to perform checking.
