Abstract:
PURPOSE: To complement the defect of a developing device in the conventional technique and to obtain stable printing quality by improving the carrying paths of plural developing rolls.
CONSTITUTION: The developing rolls 5, 6 and 7 of a first developing roll group rotated in a direction opposite to the rotational direction of a photoreceptor 1 and the developing roll 14 of a second developing roll group rotated in the same direction as the rotational direction of the photoreceptor 1 are arranged in proximity thereto on the downstream and upstream sides respectively. A regulating member 19 is provided on the lower part of the developing roll 5 and further, a distributing member 20 is provided between the developing rolls 5 and 14. On the other hand, a cross mixer 182 is provided in proximity to the developing roll 7 and further, a toner concentration detector 17 is provided on the downstream side of the mixer 182. Then, a cross mixer 181 and a carrying member 4 are arranged on the lower part of the developing rolls 5, 6 and 7.
