To provide a rush product which enables linear formation of an edge part prevented from being frayed and thereby enables adjustment of the type of matting as the rush product, in regard to the rush product of which the rushes on the cut side of a straw mat to be the base of the product are prevented from being frayed.

A bordered mat (M) has a rectangular bordered mat main body (1) made of the straw mat. Over-edge chain stitch parts (21) sewn with soft twist yarns are formed in the edge parts of the opposite end parts in the longitudinal direction of the main body (1). Edge part sides provided with the over-edge chain stitch parts (21) are folded down to the rear side (3) in a required width respectively. Each over-edge chain stitch part (21) is sewn to the bordered mat main body (1), over the total length, at two places on both sides of the part, with a sewing thread (4). According to this constitution, the edge parts (2) where the straw mat is doubled are provided in the opposite end parts in the longitudinal direction of the bordered mat (M).
