Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically subdivide a rush by providing the main body bundle support part traverse inserted through the gap between the upper main body bundle and a subdivided bindle formed by pushing aside rush bundles by a push-aside part to support the main body bundle from below.
CONSTITUTION: A rush receiving part 2 receives rush bundles extending in a before and behind direction in a lying state and a piercing/opening part 3 pierces the lower part on the front end side of the rush bundles on the rush receiving part 2 in the lateral direction crossing the rush bundles almost at a right angle to open the lower part on the front end side of the rush bundles downwardly to form a front opening part and a put-aside part 4 is inserted into the front opening part traverse. The put-aside part 4 puts aside the rush bundles up and down while moves rearwardly and laterally to form upper main body bundles and lower subdivided bundles and a main body bundle support part 5 is inserted into the gap between the upper and lower bundles traverse to support the main body bundles from below.
