Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust preventive material which has not only good viscosity and a thixotropic property, and excellent rust prevention performance, but also excellent stability without occurrence of sedimentation of aggregate powder even when stored for a long term.SOLUTION: Provided is a rust preventive material for reinforcing steel bars, comprising an SBR aqueous emulsion, an asphalt aqueous emulsion, and aggregate powder as a solid content, and to which are mixed lime for a pH adjustment and water for a viscosity adjustment. The aggregate powder has a particle diameter in a range of 0.1 μm to 500 μm and a value of (90% particle diameter-10% particle diameter)/(50% particle diameter) of 2.0 or more. As the aggregate powder, preferable is at least one selected from calcium carbonate, silica, Portland cement, and diatom earth.
