Abstract:

To provide a rust proof grease useful in using under the effect of a salt damage environment, air pollution, acid rain, etc.

This rust proof grease is obtained by adding 1-100 pt.wt. acid- accepting agent having a weak alkaline property to 100 pts.wt. main grease component consisting of a base oil and a thickening agent, and thereby it is possible to obtain the grease excellent in acid-resistance and mechanical properties (brittleness).
