PURPOSE: To simplify a process of winding work by forming a pair of coils composing a saddle type non-symmetrically wound vertical deflecting coil in the same form each other and doing with one former for winding said vertical deflecting coil.
CONSTITUTION: A saddle type vertical deflecting coil is so constituted that its form seen from the side of a screen is same as that seen from the side of an electron gun. When the saddle type vertical deflecting coil is constituted in this way, the coil 11a constituting one side of the vertical deflecting coil to be divided by a joint 12 shown in Fig. and the coil 11b constituting another side take the same form so that the coil 11a and the coil 11b can be wound by the same former. Accordingly, the coil 11b can be constituted by inverting the side of the screen and the side of the electron gun by 180° of the coil 11a, thus one saddle type vertical deflecting coil may be formed.
