This safe fishhook receiver is provided by attaching a fishhook- receiving portion (2) to the body (1) of the receiver and disposing a pull spring (3) in the receiving portion. A fishhook (9) is hooked on the ring (3b) of the pulling spring (3), and then a fishing fine is wound on a reel, or the body (1) of the receiver is forward slid. Thereby, the fishing line (10) is always held in a pulled state by the expansion or contraction of the pull spring (3), and the fishhook (9) can surely be fixed. Thus, the trouble of the fishhook (9) and the entanglement of the fishing line (10) can beforehand be prevented.
