To solve the problem that the following system has a risk because the system does not sometimes function due to a failure in an electric system, though, for example, the system for braking a door by detecting a motion of a safety shoe by a sensor is used for preventing a person from being caught in the door.
When the safety shoe 2 is pushed due to the entry of the person etc. into the course of the door 1, a wedge body 3, which is interlocked with the motion of the safety shoe 2 via an elastic body 5, is sandwiched between a roller 62, supporting the door 1, and an undersurface of a guide rail 8, so as to bring about a self-locking phenomenon and stop the door 1. The safety shoe 2 gets into the door 1 because the elastic body 5 is bent when the safety shoe 2 is pushed even after the stop of the door. Thus, the sandwiched space becomes large so that the person can easily escape.
