Abstract:
PURPOSE: To construct a safety device of low cost and high reliability without lowering original performances of a cooking appliance.
CONSTITUTION: A gas control circuit 1 is constructed by connecting in series a thermistor 3 of regular characteristics increasing a resistance value in accordance with a rise in temperature, a dry cell 4, a magnet solenoid valve 5 provided for a gas supply pipe, opened by electrification and closed by a stop of electrification and a switch 6. On the other hand, a thermocouple 7 disposed in the vicinity of a burner head of a gas cooking appliance is connected to an electromagnet 8 in a switch holding circuit 2 and this electromagnet 8 is equipped with a movable piece 10 which is held in an attracted state by electrification and restored to an original position by a spring 9 by a stop of electrification. Moreover, a leaf spring 11 is fitted integrally to the movable piece 10 and the leaf spring 11 is made to close the switch 6 by an operation of attraction of the movable piece 10.
