Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely insure safety of an operator in a pit without inconveniences for working in the pit.
CONSTITUTION: This invention relates to a device which is mounted on the position of a pit part on the guide rail 4 in an elevator running passage, and provided with an actuating body to actuate an emergency stop device 3 provided on a cage or a balancing weight, when the cage 1 or the balancing weight is brought down up to a prescribed distance.
