PURPOSE: To improve the sensitivity of a pressure sensitive switch detecting the existence of foreign matters lying in a clearance between an opening and a closing members by setting a straight line, where the opening and the closing member contact each other, approximately vertical when the directional center axis of the pressure sensitive switch is caused to hold a solid linear thin plate between the opening and the closing member.
CONSTITUTION: The state of a body being interposed is decided by the structure of the closing member side. Accordingly the linear thin plate 30 such as a solid bar is held between the opening such as a window frame 1 and the closing member such as a window glass 2 to obtain the held state, and the linear thin plate 30 such as the bar finds the abutting place of the opening. Then the directional center axis of the pressure sensitive switch S is disposed approximately vertical against the straight line where the opening such as the window frame 1 and the linear thin plate 30 such as the bar abut, and the pressure sensitive switch S is arranged so as to detect the presence of the subject to be held.
