Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the movement instability of a vehicle in accordance with a braking after a vehicle stoppage position is detected.
CONSTITUTION: While the stoppage of a vehicle is detected by a vehicle stoppage detection means 4 after the vehicle stoppage position on a running road is detected by a vehicle stoppage position detection means 2, a steering regulating control means 8 actuates a steering regulating means 6 and limits a steering angle to below a prescribed value. This steering angle limit is performed when an automatic braking means 12a and an alarm means 12b are actuated so as to detect a future turning to the right or left based on an winker input by a turning right and left detection means 10 and to secure the stoppage at the vehicle stoppage position, for instance.
