Abstract:
To provide a safety device which can achieve reduction in the weight.SOLUTION: A safety device 1 comprises: a pulley 3 which rotates in the first direction X in conjunction with the delivery of a wire W from a drum; weights 4A, 4B which move to the second position on the outer side from the first position with the centrifugal force when the pulley 3 rotates in the first direction X at a rotational speed exceeding a specified value; a rotator 7 which is provided coaxially with the pulley 3 and rotates independently of the pulley 3; an interlock mechanism 8 which fixes the rotator 7 to the pulley 3 in conjunction with the weights 4A, 4B when the weights 4A, 4B move to the second position and rotates the rotator 7 in the first direction X integrally with the pulley 3; and a brake lever 10 which includes a rotational shaft ** that is in parallel with a rotational shaft A1 of the pulley 3, is provided so as to be opposite to a portion where the wire W is laid in a groove 3a of the pulley 3 and holds the wire W between the pulley 3 and itself by swinging in conjunction with the rotation of the rotator 7 in the first direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
