Abstract:
To provide a safety rod device in a workbench on which handhold bars are erected in the vicinity of four corners of a top plate, in which a work space on the top plate is surrounded by rods.SOLUTION: There is provided a safety rod device composed of a detachable first longitudinal rod (11a) and a second longitudinal rod (11b) connecting adjacent handhold bars facing a side edge of a top plate. Engaging claws (13a) of latch devices provided at both ends of both longitudinal rods are protruded from a ventral surface (14a) of the longitudinal rod, and the engaging claws (13a) are removably inserted and locked into a connecting hole (16) provided at the top of a handhold bar (8). Both longitudinal rods (11a) (11b) are provided with opposing coupling holes (24) on the ventral surface, and when detached from the handle bar (8), the engaging claw (13a) of one longitudinal rod is removably inserted and locked into the opposing coupling hole (24) of the other longitudinal rod, thereby coupling both longitudinal rods (11a) (11b).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
